First off, hats off to our host Eduardo for taken care of the four of us. Yes, it’s not very scenic place but you’re here to eat and eat we did. The board, the ravioli, the beef cheeks and the lamb were all very good and couple with a bottle of Chianti…meal was fantastic. If I was here longer (leave tomorrow AM), I would come again. Great food!
We got the fried courgettes with ricotta cheese filling, the beef ragu, roasted potatoes and beef tagliata. Everything was perfect, it felt like eating at home, the atmosphere is cozy, warm and the food is delicious. I highly recommend Locanda Trionfale to everyone!

A very Off the Beaten path restaurant about 10 minutes from the Vatican. The cacio e pepe was the best I've had in Rome and the meatballs were delicious! Do not leave without the tiramisu! Attentive service, amazing atmosphere and food to match!
Great bread, pasta, cheese. Great cold cuts!!! Worth a visit. Dinners there are worth recommending. We ate there on the spot. The restaurant has the best quality products.
We had an amazing final meal in Rome here last night. A truly homely, welcoming restaurant with the most beautiful food and friendly service. Massive portions of pasta so definitely order it as your main course instead of as a 'primi' (starter) as is often traditional in Italy. We loved the mozzarella di bufala and proscuitto to start, and the stuffed zucchini blossoms were a must-order. They're filled with lemony ricotta and fried to a perfectly light crispness. My partner had the hand-cut pappardelle with salsiccia, mint and pecorino as his main and it was sublime. My polpette (meatballs) were tender and delicious, and paired perfectly with the roasted potatoes and sautéed chicoria - both also prepared to absolute perfection. We were sadly too full for dessert but all the desserts we saw coming out looked delicious.
This was hands down the best restaurant we had in Rome. Manuel is amazing, made us feel at home and the food was superb. To top it off, wine was very reasonably priced. Grazie mille
